„The Herbal Witch collecting Herbs“
The second third oil painting I did was „The Herbal Witch collecting Herbs“. I wanted to include people in my paintings and I always wanted to tell a story with them. So now I started a series I call „People engaging Nature“ and it’s about telling the story of individual people doing a specific activity in or with nature. Also this painting was really fun because I tried to play with the light and shadows and I loved thinking about what color to put where and why that is. With „The Herbal Witch collecting Herbs“ I found the true fun in painting and started to really love oil paint.
